Day 76 Active Recovery

Congratulations you’ve made it to your active recovery day. Remember that you’ll perform cardio today even though it’s a recovery day. And you’ll do a 16 hour fast following your last meal of the day.

Today’s non-training tip is to do whatever you can to get extra sleep and lower your stress levels. I’ve emphasized the importance of training, nutrition and supplementation, but don’t forget that sleep is crucial for supporting muscle growth while you’re dieting. Make sure you get at least 7 hours if not a little more. Turn off your phone and computer a few hours before bed and take up a quiet activity like reading or meditation to promote calmness. Also make sure you have black out curtains, that your room is cool, and you’ve got all stand-by lights covered.
