LJ100® Tongkat Ali, or Eurycoma longifolia, is the only science-based Eurycoma longifolia extract, standardized to precise percentages of TA’s bioactive compounds. Co-discovered and researched in collaboration with MIT, patented LJ100 has been shown to have pro-androgenic effects.*[1] Evidence suggests that LJ100 may increase the bioavailability of testosterone by lowering the amount of sex hormone binding globulin, or SHBG, and reducing the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.*[3,4] Around age 30, SHBG begins to naturally increase. In a study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, subjects with moderate stress supplemented with 200mg of LJ100. After four weeks, cortisol levels decreased while testosterone levels increased.* Overall, the anabolic environment—using the ratio of circulating total testosterone compared to cortisol—improved significantly.*[2]
KSM-66 Ashwagandha root extract works as an adaptogen to help maintain healthy cortisol levels.* The Ferodrox formula delivers a precise 600mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha which has been shown to lower serum cortisol levels.* In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, researchers gave 64 subjects 600mg of KSM-66 or a placebo for eight weeks. At the end of the study, the KSM-66-supplemented individuals had decreased their cortisol levels significantly versus the placebo.*[5] Research has also shown that supplementing with 600mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha daily can increase strength, muscle mass, and total testosterone, while reducing body fat [6].* Supplementing with KSM-66 while also resistance training three times per week, for a period of 12 weeks, resulted in: Increases in bench press and leg strength* Increases in chest and upper arm size* Improvement versus placebo for change in body fat* Increase in total testosterone within the normal healthy range* KSM-66 is derived from a solvent-free water extraction technology which results in a full spectrum extract. In fact, KSM-66 has the highest percentage of naturally-occurring withanolides of root-only extracts available on the market today, with more than 5% concentrations as measured by HPLC. I have started taking Ferodrox 3 weeks ago and I can see the difference. It is helping in burning fat and I see a little muscle definition on myself. Best thing happening to me is - I am a Type-2 diabetes - and I see my fasting blood glucose getting better. Previously I used to workout and have a clean diet but fasting close wasn't making me happy. I started Ferodrox and I have adjusted my dose to morning and evening. I am taking one capsule after breakfast and the other after dinner. I am doing very low card diet (almost carnivore haha) and strength training in evening.
