MAXCatalyst™ Piper nigrum Fruit Extract is a patented ingredient from black pepper extract.
Of course, black pepper is one of the most common spices in the world.
For thousands of years, cultures have used it for more than its flavor. In Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, pepper was used to stimulate digestion and support the absorption of other common spices, like turmeric and cumin.
Today we know that piperine, the active compound in black pepper, supports digestion by stimulating stomach acid.
However, MAXCatalyst™ isn’t just household pepper. Ordinary piperine hasn’t been shown to support the absorption of classic pre-workout supplements.
That’s because ordinary piperine works slowly. But ingredients like caffeine and L-citrulline work FAST.
