Day 35:Active Rest Day

You should be seeing some obvious changes in your physique at this point in my 8-Week Muscle-Building Trainer. Maybe your weight has changed, but the more obvious measures are pictures and your mirror. You shouldn’t check your mirror every day or take photos more than once a week, but you should adhere to that weekly schedule of taking photos. Another great measure is how your clothes are fitting.

I’m fasting until after my photo shoot. I’m not in photo shape yet. I still have three weeks to go on my 8-Week Muscle-Building Trainer, so the tank top is staying on. Then I need to rush to the Expo to greet fans, but these are all good distractions to prevent me from thinking about how hungry I am on this short fast.

TIP

I love greeting fans at bodybuilding expos, but it’s exhausting. I know it sounds like a privileged complaint, but we all have excuses in whatever walk of life we come from. I’m bloody shattered from today’s work and the flight home. I’m dealing with a painful back, and I need to train my back tomorrow. So, tomorrow I’m going to get in the sauna, and then I’m going to get on the roller before I train my back. I’ll rejigger my workout to warm up my back during my workout—you’ll see that in tomorrow’s video. It’s critical to find ways to perform all of your workouts without injuring yourself.
