Day 55: Active Rest Day
Adaptation is crucial. I just had a difficult travel experience, but I was prepared for that in terms of supplements and nutrition. I still didn’t get enough sleep. You have to expect this when you travel. As you saw in a previous day’s video, I hate to fly. But you can’t complain about that when it’s getting you to where you’re going. My message is that you stay on your path whatever mode of transportation that demands.
Even though I’ve traveled and I’ve already taken my photos, I still need to get in my cardio. Whenever you have a hard day, if you have the choice between going home or going to the gym when you haven’t performed your last workout, you should always go straight to the gym. Your home is designed to relax you, and you’re far less likely to perform your last workout.
Keep in mind that you are not just finishing up a program; you are transitioning to your next goal in this progression.

TIP
My seminar in New Jersey is about the importance of choosing supplements that support health. Too many people choose supplements that provide them with a promised advantage that may or may not be true. It’s crucial to avoid harmful chemicals in both your foods and supplements. I can’t stress this enough. Emphasize the clean and pure.
