I was born and raised in the rainy state of Oregon. You could always see me with long braids with bows being the ball girl for just about every sport at Oregon State University. I was that typical tom-boy that always wanted to play with the boys until 4th grade when I was forced to play softball instead of baseball. I was a three sport athlete in high school but wanted to fully experience college and hang up the cleats. In graduate school, I fell in love with fitness. I had always been athletic but didn’t know how to properly fuel myself or how to lift. I needed an outlet and needed to focus on myself for once in my life. It was a game changer. I moved to Arizona to teach elementary school and began to grow more and more in the gym and connect with bodybuilders/likeminded people. I had always seen myself teaching, building relationships with students and empowering young women. I didn’t know what that looked like until I applied randomly for a high school PE position which opened up so many doors and opportunities to make a difference and impact the younger generation. This job has allowed me to share my passion of health and fitness and also be a physical example to my students that you can do anything you set your mind to. Now a bodybuilder, I am thankful for the past experiences that has shaped and equipped me to be who and where I am today and can’t imagine doing anything else.
My first bodybuilding show being canceled 5 days out last March due to COVID 19 after putting in countless hours in the gym and dialing completely in on my diet.
Although I was frustrated and felt defeated, I kept training heavy, day in and day out. I wasn’t going to let it define or really derail me. I made a choice to use the set back as a comeback, to be even better package in November of 2020 where I placed 2nd, 4th and 5th overall.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be the ability to make and eat all of the pizza whenever I wanted (pepperoni and pineapple…pineapple ALWAYS goes on pizza!)
